Low-cost obstetric simulator
Designing an affordable obstetric training simulator with the Rutgers-Newark Midwifery Nursing program.
View projectI'm a senior studying biomedical engineering at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, in the Honors College. Within BME, I'm interested in tissue engineering, biomaterials, medical devices, biosensors, wearable health tech, targeted drug delivery and neural engineering. For my senior capstone, my team is designing a low-cost obstetric training simulator for the Rutgers-Newark Midwifery Nursing program.
I've worked as a volunteer and career EMT for four years, which has shown me how medical devices are used in the field and what makes them easy or hard to use under pressure.
I'm looking for R&D internships for summer 2027, and I'm planning to pursue a master's in BME after I graduate.
Outside of school, I play guitar, collect and grow plants, hike, snowboard, and train in calisthenics.
